Before stepping foot into this restaurant, I already wrote the food in Colombia off as the best food that I’ve experienced so far worldwide. No questions. I’ve never experienced such extensive use of seasoning in any place I’ve visited. America included.
Full disclosure, we were starving prior to entering the place so this place may be getting possible starvation points. I ordered a pepperoni pizza via Google Translate. Carla got nachos and three tacos. Definitely way too much food for a lunch but so necessary. When the food was placed in front of us the presentation alone left me drooling but when we finally bit into our food, it was borderline orgasmic. We then traded food and our eyes rolled back into my head. I have never experienced such pleasure.
As we sat back, food demolished, plates empty, you really take in the pretty scenery the restaurant offers. You can watch from afar the men preparing the food in the kitchen. Look at the beautiful decor and art displayed on the walls. We went back for dinner and it was even more stunning at night with the hanging lights twinkling against the walls.
Although the servers did not speak English, they were very accommodating to Google Translate and didn’t roll their eyes at our confused faces. My favorite part is that they allowed me to take me lemon daiquiri to go. I sipped on that until I fell asleep.
God is definitely in the back preparing this food.
